We regularly add fields and features to the Belscope API. This documentation always shows the current version.

Getting started

You need two things to use the API, the address and your key.

Address

Every request goes to this address:

https://api.belscope.be/v1

Key

Send your key with every request, in this header:

Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY

Enterprise number

All these spellings of the same number work:

04003784850400.378.485BE0400378485BE 0400.378.485

Example

The address and the key together, in a request that gets the profile of company 0400.378.485:

curl https://api.belscope.be/v1/companies/0400378485 \
-H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY"
const response = await fetch('https://api.belscope.be/v1/companies/0400378485', {
headers: { Authorization: 'Bearer YOUR_KEY' },
});
const data = await response.json();
import requests
response = requests.get(
'https://api.belscope.be/v1/companies/0400378485',
headers={'Authorization': 'Bearer YOUR_KEY'},
)
data = response.json()
$context = stream_context_create([
'http' => ['header' => 'Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY', 'ignore_errors' => true],
]);
$response = file_get_contents('https://api.belscope.be/v1/companies/0400378485', false, $context);
$data = json_decode($response, true);
using var client = new HttpClient();
client.DefaultRequestHeaders.Add("Authorization", "Bearer YOUR_KEY");
var response = await client.GetAsync("https://api.belscope.be/v1/companies/0400378485");
var data = await response.Content.ReadAsStringAsync();

OpenAPI

The whole API in one file, for tools that generate code or test requests: openapi.json (OpenAPI 3.0.3).
